You've reached the website of Genevieve Havemeyer-King. I'm a media archivist by day, projectionist by night, and I host liquid light performances as part of a creative duo known as A Clockface Orange. I care about moving images and motion picture technology, and the preservation of our cultural memory.
I'm currently the Media Preservation Coordinator at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, alumni of the National Digital Stewardship Residency program, and have 10 years of projection and media archiving experience. I'm available for consulting, freelance archival management, instruction, and speaking engagements. A modified version of my complete CV can be found by clicking the link above. Contact me for the full version.
I have an MA in Moving Image Archiving and Preservation Program from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. I also have a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and an AA in Liberal Arts from Santa Rosa Junior College in CA.
Reach me by email! I love collaborating and connecting.
